Celebrating George Tsutakawa's 100th Birthday

We celebrate February 22, 2010, the birthday of George Tsutakawa, who would have been 100 this year, for his work, contributions and continuing legacy.

Seattle-born artist and educator, George Tsutakawa (1910-1997), created fountains, sculptures and paintings, inspiring countless students and artists of all ages.

This gallery of Asian Pacific American contemporary art is named in honor of the noted Pacific Northwest artist George Tsutakawa (1910 - 1997), and features the work of both pioneer and contemporary Asian Pacific American artists.
