Description Female Chinese doll -- Pre-1900 Festival doll Head made of clay and painted. Is broken into numerous pieces. Earring in one ear. Body on wooden stand is made of straw covered with newspaper with Chinese calligraphy. Neck, lower arms and legs covered with clay and painted flesh tone. Arms separated at elbow and attached with wire. Right hand holds a pipe. Blue cotton bodice stuck to figure. Red painted shoes with black design. Muslim pants protect lower body.
