Description
|
| Large ginger jar, full curved body, low wide neck, with domed cover to fit over it. Stoneware body, covered with light blue glaze. Cloud-collar design around shoulder in dark red and yellow color, floral scrolls decorating body, in turquoise green, blue, and dark red, with two large red lotus flowers and two multi-colored flowers. Along lower part a band of rising blades in dark red, blue, green, and yellow. Base covered with light blue glaze with underglaze blue description. Base rim and outside of neck unglazed. late 19th / early 20th century |
