Experience the work of a visionary artist-activist who changed Asian America forever. Nobuko Miyamoto will hold a jam-packed showcase of her documentary film created by Tad Nakamura & Quyen Nguyên-Le, a mini-concert, and reception.

This event is free and open to UW Students & Community!

Event Schedule:

🚪 5:00 PM — Doors Open

🎬 5:30 - 6:30 PM — Film Screening: A Song in Movement. A documentary film by Tad Nakamura & Quyen Nguyên-Le

🎙️ 6:30 - 7:30pm — Mini-Concert. Nobuko performs with musical guest Derek Nakamoto

💬 7:00 - 8:30 PM — Reception. A catered community reception and Q & A facilitated by Linda Ando follows at the Ethnic Cultural Center (ECC)
