First Look during Lunar New Year Family Fair

Our New Years All Year Round exhibit in the KidPLACE Gallery gets a fiery refresh to honor the year of the Fire Horse! Celebrate New Year traditions from around the world. Explore new works from featured artist, Nina Vichayapai, and a fresh display of community-submitted stories.
This exhibit’s opening is open to all paid visitors, members, and non-members, and is concurrent to our day-long Lunar New Year Family Fair.
Lunar New Year Family Fair FAQ

Museum access and fair activities are included with your General Admission ticket. The Lion Dance and blessing ceremony at 10 AM is free to the public.

Please feel free to arrive at 15-30 minutes before your scheduled entry time. If you are running late (or early), please let our front desk know.

We highly recommend booking ahead with our timed-ticketing. There are a limited number of walk-in appointments on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Visitors may sign up for a designated entry time during the day upon registration. This helps reduce lines and wait times for activities.
There are four entry times throughout the day, at 11 AM, 12 PM, 1 PM, and 2 PM, giving you the flexibility to plan your visit.
There is no time restriction for how long you can enjoy the fair and museum, but Lunar New Year activities close at 3PM.
